Hurd Replacement Wood/Clad Awning Sash's with glass for Hurd Wood/Clad Awning Windows. Sash(s) will be wood on the interior and extruded aluminum clad on the exterior.

How To Order:
Handing: Awning windows are hinged at the TOP. If you window is hinged on the side you need to order a Casement Sash. A awning sash will NOT work in a casement window.
Call Out Width & Call Out Height: IMPORTANT! You must enter the width in the width field and height in the height field. If you enter your sash measurements backwards your sash will not work and R&R will not take it back as we order based on the information you enter.
Call Out Width: The "Call Out" number comes from the Actual Glass Size Width in the sash. Sash sizes shown below are taken from the EXTERIOR CLAD side of the sash at its largest points of the sash. (Click on Drawing above to enlarge to see this). These are the Standard Hurd Call Out / Glass Size = Sash Sizes you will receive.

Glass: Options are Standard Low E or Low E 366
Tempered: No or Yes? On your glass in each sash will have a tempered stamp in one of the four corners if it is tempered. If you do not have a tempered stamp glass is not tempered. IMPORTANT! If the existing glass is tempered you must order your new sash with tempered glass as well, as its per Code.
Interior Wood: Pine Only at this time.
Interior Wood Finish: Unfinished = wood will be bare and you the customer will need to paint or stain. Primed = Interior sash will come painted primed and you the customer will need to paint the sash.
Exterior Clad Color: 15 Standard Clad Colors Available. To see colors or to order a samples prior to ordering your sashes click on link Clad Color Samples
Grille Pattern: Pattern of grille bars in sash. Option is None, Rectangular and Queen Ann - factory standard layout for call out size. Click on link Bar and Grille Examples
Grille Option: Bar Type and Thickness. Click on link Bar and Grille Examples
Vintage: If you know the year of your Hurd Casement window was manufactured then click on the corresponding dates in the drop down menu. If you do not know the date or are even a little unsure click "Do Not Know" 1988 and older Awnings you the customer will have to trim 1/4" on two sides of the sash to fit in frame if your windows are wood inside AND wood outside - By placing your order you the customer acknowledges they will trim sash on older units
Shipping: Sashes will be shipped VIA UPS LTL Freight ONLY.
Choose One of the following:
Residential Curb Side Delivery -(included) YOU the customer will be responsible for UNLOADING and INSPECTING all items at the time of delivery - NOT the UPS Driver.
Residential UPS Lift Gate Unload Service - $145.00 upgrade - Flat Fee. UPS diver will unload your order off of the truck with a lift gate. If you are ordering more then QTY 1 sash you only need to choose this option once, for ONE sash, as it is a flat fee for the whole sash order, no matter how many sashes you order.
Commercial Delivery - If you are having sashes delivered to a Home/House/Apartment/Town-home/Condo, even if your business is run out it. DO NOT choose commercial delivery! If you choose commercial and sashes get delivered to an residential address all additional fees will be charged to the customer.
Special Order Items - NO Returns, NO Refunds and NO Cancellations once you press the order button! Customer is responsible for all information provided.
Sashes will be shipped VIA UPS LTL Freight. The driver will call the number that you provide in your order to arrange delivery.
IMPORTANT! You the customer - not the UPS driver- MUST inspect your order at time of delivery. If you find damage at time of delivery the shipment should be refused. If you still want receive in the order and it damage then you must put a notation on the paperwork about the damage before you sign off on the delivery. Written details and photos before you unpack the sashes will help to expedite and settle all claims. If nothing is noted on the paperwork about damage at time of delivery then we will not be able to file a claim.
